Founded in Hawaii in 2018 and reintroduced in 2026, Kat Phyte exists for people who move with intent. The graphics speak before they do.
Kattification
Kattification is transformation.
It is the shift from underestimated to undeniable. From passive to powerful. From overlooked to seen. Kat Phyte treats that shift as its central philosophy: transformation expressed through confidence, instinct, identity, presence, movement, and personal power.
Kattification shows itself in six expressions:
- Pounce — action, movement, and campaign energy
- Glaring — attitude, defiance, and judgment
- Shadow — stealth, mystery, and darker expression
- Kindle — new energy, new drops, and fresh beginnings

The Headstrong Symbol
Kat Phyte's core mark is Headstrong: a feline face with X-shaped eyes and brass knuckles across the forehead. It stands for resilience, mental toughness, and identity — the ability to absorb setbacks without losing direction.
Original Artwork
Every Kat Phyte graphic is original artwork by co-founder and lead designer Erwin Baracao, known as DrWiz — a Hawaii-rooted graphic artist with more than 25 years of design experience whose work has received Ilima, Pele, and NOVA honors. Each piece reflects deliberate human craftsmanship and a distinctive artistic voice. The original apparel artwork is not generative-AI artwork.
The designs exist so people can speak without having to say a word.
