Darnell is also responsible for Marketing of NUVO Liqueur (Ultra-premium Vodka from France) throughout Asia and the Pacific, which is widely seen on music videos from MTV, VH1, BET and Centric. His business partner, Erwin Baracao aka DrWiz on his ideals of art and design, an award-winning graphic designer that circulates the late nights of Honolulu and Waikiki bodypainting at Celebrity After Parties, Fashion Shows and VIP Events. It symbolizes the lifestyle of the everyday female and provides them a connection to the universe, projecting their energy through fashion. Their marketing success on an individual level with the opposite gender have gained mass appeal, although quite different from each other on approach, they have created an original apparel which have been quoted by their peers “The Alter Ego of Hello Kitty™”.
Both founders past work is an extension of their deep rooted views, and being fond of the street culture has applied the strengths in developing Kat Phyte™. The logo itself of a Black Cat’s Face with X’s over it’s eyes represents an individual may be down, but never out.
